ISO Offers Free Online Access to the ISO 22301 Standard

24 April 2020
The International Organization for Standards (ISO) is providing FREE online access to the ISO 22301 standard.

No one expected 2020 to start off with a worldwide pandemic. As a matter of fact if you described what has occurred thus far, someone might assume the lead roles went to Dustin Hoffman or Will Smith. The reality is that we are not on a Hollywood set and this is not the making of an Academy Award winning movie. We are living a full blown outbreak.

In many cases, businesses were not prepared for the onset of a pandemic. How does one prepare for 80% of the restaurants in the United States to be shut down? What is the plan when manufacturing comes to a standstill? Is there a process for your employees to work from home? There are so many questions to answer when it comes to business interruption. What is the first step to being prepared when disaster strikes?

ISO 22301 is the Business Continuity Management System Standard and is recognized and implemented globally. The purpose of the standard is to have a management system in place to help a business/organization respond to a disaster if and when it takes place.

The International Organization for Standards (ISO) is providing FREE ONLINE ACCESS to the ISO 22301 standard. Normally this type of access could cost over $100. Click here to access a copy https://www.iso.org/covid19.

If the FREE ONLINE ACCESS was not enough to entice you to look at ISO 22301, NQA has taken the approach to conduct remote audits where possible. The challenge we face during remote audits is being able to show the value to our clients. Our team at NQA believes that we have been able to show value to the client by conducting audits remotely to hundreds of our new and existing client base.

Our team at NQA would like to take the opportunity to share the benefits of implementing ISO 22301. Please click here to schedule a phone call https://www.nqa.com/en-us/contact-us.

From all of us at NQA, please stay safe and be positive. We will get through this pandemic together!
