US Army 'Common Tactical Truck'
27 February 2023
Recently the US Government's Department of Defense procurement team has announced 4 teams each including an established automotive OE designed to develop prototype vehicles to replace the current aging Army fleet.
The contract currently includes a requirement that OE’s and suppliers need to hold the globally recognized IATF 16949 certification for related equipment.
NQA, the largest IATF 16949 Certification Body, has been quick to seek IATF approval for organizations manufacturing these vehicles, the supply chain as well as those providing vehicle related modifications under the same contract.
NQA is mission ready to support the US Army in developing their Common Tactical Truck and can help support the chosen OE’s in meeting contractual requirements for IATF 16949 for themselves and their supply chain.
With skilled and professional auditors and our dedicated business group to support the US Army’s needs for a total transport solution into the next decade, we are primed and ready to help your organization's contract compliance.
