Course aims
The aim of this course is to provide delegates with the knowledge and skills required to perform an internal audit of part of an environmental management system based on ISO 14001 (or equivalent) and report on the effective implementation and maintenance of the management system in accordance with ISO 19011.
This course will give delegates the skills and experience to successfully complete the CQI and IRCA Internal Auditor assessment and potentially progress to achieve Lead Auditor status.
It is recommended that, as a minimum, delegates familiarise themselves with their own EMS and in particular, their own internal audit procedure (should they have one) prior to attending the course. Consideration should be given to attending the 1 day NQA ISO 14001:2015 Introduction course or our Essentials E-Learning to gain a basic understanding of the standard.
