What is your role?
As an assessor at NQA, my role involves evaluating organisations to ensure they meet specific standards and certifications. I conduct thorough assessments, review processes and practices, and provide feedback to help companies achieve and maintain compliance with industry standards.
Most memorable moment at work
One of my most memorable moments was helping a small local business achieve their first ISO certification. They were overjoyed and incredibly grateful, and it was fulfilling to see their hard work and dedication pay off. It was a great reminder of how impactful our assessments can be for businesses at every level.
Your favourite thing about working for NQA
My favourite thing about working at NQA is the opportunity to support our clients through their certification journey. My top tip for anyone aiming to achieve certification is to thoroughly read and understand the management system standards relevant to your industry. It's also crucial to grasp the basics of the PDCA (Plan-Do-Check-Act) cycle, as this foundational framework will help you effectively implement and manage your system. A solid grasp of these elements will set you up for success and make the certification process much smoother.
