The Finance Team plays a vital role in NQA's day-to-day business. Find out what their department manager enjoys most about working for NQA and what her top tip would be.

What is your role?

I am the Finance Head in NQA’s India office in Bangalore. I have 10 years work experience here. My role is Finance manager controlling finance activity. NQA which is essential for maintaining good accounts practice, timely delivery of error proof work, adopting new taxation policies as per day to day changes  in Indian government rule. Preparing accounts, filing varies statutory returns, dealing with day to day banking activities, maintaining good relationship with clients, monitoring with payment, receipts, TDS updates, payroll, staff records, etc. My main focus is to control the debts and reduction in expenses.

Most memorable moment at work?

It was a very happy moment that when I joined with NQA team and started my career. It was my completion of 10 year in NQA. It was a good platform I got lots of opportunities to improve my skills on these years.

I’ve a trip to UK office to aware about the systems maintained by our HO. Also I have experienced the difference in cultures, food, people and ways of working which has been an exciting eye-opener. These visits have really helped me to build and maintain positive relationships with the international team to ensure that we are all working towards a unified goal.
