Courses included:

The aim of both courses is to provide delegates with the knowledge and skills required to perform first, second, and third party audits of part of a Quality Management System (QMS) based on ISO 9001 and report on the effective implementation and maintenance of the management system in accordance with ISO 19011 and ISO/IEC 17021, as applicable.  

These courses will delegates the skills and experience to successfully complete the CQI and IRCA Lead Auditor assessment and achieve Lead Auditor status.  

*NOTE: As a prerequisite to these courses, we recommend that you complete ISO 9001 E-Learning or the tutor-led ISO 9001 Introduction training first to ensure you have a good understanding of the terms and processes within the standard. 

What will I learn?

  • How to describe the purpose of Quality Management Systems, PDCA cycle and the 7 management principles 

  • How to explain the principles and methods of performing process based audits against ISO 9001 

  • How to define the roles and responsibilities of an Auditor and Lead Auditor 

  • How to complete an effective audit using a structured and approved approach 

  • How to review an audit showing corrective action and root cause analysis
