The PAS 2080 specification for Carbon Management in Buildings and Infrastructure was updated in 2023. A key driver in its uptake is National Highway’s commitment to, ‘ask all of our contractors and their sub-contractors to implement their own PAS 2080 accredited carbon management system by the end of 2025’.
Due to the core requirement for collaborative frameworks in PAS 2080, this will impact not only the construction sector, but also architects, civil engineers, designers and product & material suppliers.
