The Green Gas Support Scheme is introduced from the 30th November 2021 and will run for 4 years, ending on 30th November 2025. This scheme facilitates and encourages the production of biomethane for injections into the grid. Those that produce or are proposing to produce biomethane can apply for a tariff guarantee for production of the biomethane under these Regulations.
