Amends/Commences: Ecodesign for Energy-Related Products and Energy Information (Amendment) (EU Exit) Regulations 2019 Under the following pieces in LUS:

Commission Regulation (EC) No 244/2009 implementing Directive 2005/32/EC with regard to ecodesign requirements for non-directional household lamps

The Energy Information Regulations 2011

Regulation (EU) 2017/1369 setting a framework for energy labelling and repealing Directive 2010/30/EU

Regulation (EU) No 626/2011 supplementing Directive 2010/30/EU with regard to energy labelling of air conditioners
Comes into force: Just before IP completion day and IP completion day

Amendments are made to The Ecodesign for Energy-Related Products and Energy Information (Amendment) (EU Exit) Regulations 2019, to take account of the Northern Ireland Protocol, under which it is agreed Northern Ireland will continue to follow European Union (EU) rules.
References to (EU) terminology are removed or replaced with the relevant United Kingdom (UK) reference.
References to ‘exit day’ are replaced with references to ‘IP completion day’.
References to the UK are replaced with reference to Great Britain (GB) (i.e. England, Scotland, Wales).
