Section 11 (Large fuel retailers etc: provision of public charging or refuelling points) of the Automated and Electric Vehicles Act 2018 is brought into force. Section 11 gives the Secretary of State power to make regulations requiring large fuel retailers and service area operators to provide public charging points, and to ensure that they are maintained and easily accessible to the public.
