Amends/Commences: The Environmental Assessment of Plans and Programmes Regulations 2004

Comes into force: 16th July 2020

Temporary modifications are made to the The Environmental Assessment of Plans and Programmes Regulations 2004, in order to reduce the potential spread of Coronavirus (COVID-19).

Instead of having to make the necessary environmental assessment report and associated documentation available for inspection at their principal office, the Secretary of State (SoS) and responsible authorities, are required to make them available through a website provided by the SoS, reducing personal contact between individuals.

These temporary modifications apply from 16th July 2020 until 31st December 2020.
