QHSE Aberdeen Ltd. was founded in 2015, to provide Consultancy and Advisory services to companies that require assistance in the areas of Quality, Health & Safety, Environmental, Information Security Management Systems, Audits, Risk Assessment and Training. Our team consists of specialist consultants in the various ISO standards, GDPR Compliance and Training.

Why do you like working with NQA?

We like to refer and use a reliable Certification Body. NQA provide local Auditors which can also cut back in travel costs and time, this in turn can have a more cost-effective pricing structure. NQA have proven time and again value for money to the end client.

Top tip for people looking at certification?

Keep it simple… when implementing your Management System say what you do and do what you say. Don’t make up over complicated systems that you won’t follow. It will pay dividends in the Audit when you can provide all the evidence. Get your Certification Audits booked in, within plenty of time.

What do you find is the most common point of misunderstanding regarding certification or specific standards when visiting clients?

Believing that hiring a Consultant is costly and trying to “buy” a system of the shelf and then finally asking a consultant for help after already spending too much! Also forgetting to keep up to date with all the Internal Audits and Legal Registers. You must keep the system up to date and not wait until the week before your surveillance audit! Anything else you think our readers might like to know/hear?

Sometimes outsourcing ISO Management System maintenance can be much more cost effective than hiring a full time QHSE Employee. A good Lead Auditor can offer a wealth of experience and are generally the ones who are constantly dealing with Certification Bodies and know what they want from a Robust Management System, bringing all the knowledge and backing of their business. Just like having your own part time highly experienced QHSE Manager when you need them. Take the stress out of QHSE Management Systems and Audits.
