Green Team are an energy, environment, and utilities consultant specialist. Green Team focus on helping organisations to minimise their financial and compliance burden of energy, environmental and utility matters.

In House Energy Manager – Helping organisations manage and understand their energy and carbon commitments and develop ongoing improvement strategies.

Utility Services are a broad range of services covering the management and procurement options organisations have for their Gas, Electricity and Water providers.

Many organisations are unaware of the contract commitment and financial downfalls of the available energy contracts from mainstream providers. Or there are often misunderstandings on the types of contacts being used; fixed, flexi and buy-back. And the types of energy available; brown, blue and green.

We look to optimise all your utilities contracts and make sure they are the best fit for your business.

With many ways to procure your utilities it is important to have your needs analysed in detail. It is not a one size fits all process, and you need to be able to change your approach when the market or your business needs change.

Top tip for people looking at certification?

It doesn’t have to be difficult, and it doesn’t have to be boring if implemented in the right way. Simplicity and functionality are key foundations to start from. Set meaningful and achievable goals or milestones.

And... make a proactive plan that you can follow easily, then the process soon falls into place.

What do you find is the most common point of misunderstanding regarding certification or specific standards when visiting clients?

The amount of documentation required. We find that businesses still believe that ISO standards mean huge information heavy manuals, rather than meaningful systems and solutions to drive improvement.

Streamlined efficiency is far more impacting and effective.

Is there anything else you'd like to let our readers know?

Green Team is more than just an ISO consultancy. Our passion is in creating sustainable and environmental solutions to our clients across a broad range of platforms and industry sectors.

We enjoy what we do and have worked on very large and very small projects. But they are all important to us. And the success of our clients is what really counts.
