About your company
RK Auditing is based in the Northwest UK but works with clients from any area. We are Management System specialists and have been delivering ISO standards since 2012. We work with any industry and have a diverse range of clients including:

Since 2020, we have performed guest lectures at Liverpool John Moore’s Universities about ISO standards and are currently expanding our Health & Safety Services to help with Constructionline, CHAS and Safe Contractor submissions.
Why do you like working with NQA?
We have been working with NQA since 2012 when they were recommended by another Consultant. We find them to be well priced compared to some of the other certification bodies, like the sign-up process for our clients as it is simple and the quote is provided promptly.
One of the main benefits of working with NQA is the reliability of their auditors. Each auditor provided to our client by NQA is approachable, helpful and fair. We find the reports easy to access, clear and consistent in format.
We have also used NQA for Lead Auditor training and found them to be excellent trainers with well-presented courses, great venues and reasonable prices.
Top tip for people looking at certification?
Prepare, prepare, prepare. Use the audit plan provided to think about what you may get asked in the audit and prepare some examples / know where to find the information when asked. It saves time, is far less stressful and ensures that the audit runs much more smoothly.
What do you find is the most common point of misunderstanding regarding certification or specific standards when visiting clients?
We find that prior to implementing a system, most people assume it’s just a tick box exercise and is going to result in a file gathering dust on the shelf. This means that it can sometimes be hard to convince the client that if they use the system correctly it can really help them to develop their business and will help to ensure compliance with legislation. Many organisations don’t even realise their legal obligations!
The ISO standards and Management Systems help to improve the business, enhance customer satisfaction and gives an organisation a better chance of long-term survival.

Unlike many consultancies, we quote for the job as a whole and not on an hour-by-hour basis meaning that you know exactlywhat our costs are up front and we will continue to work with you until you pass your certification with NQA.
